This Entrepreneurship Summer School is for amateurs who wish to learn the basics of entrepreneurship. It is best suited for student from around the world who wish to experience what Oxford has to offer for an inspiring and fun summer.
Who can apply?
This programme is suitable for:
- high school or early stage under-graduate students
- employees who have no experience or knowledge of entrepreneurship
The Fun Entrepreneurship Programme gives you:
- Hear from renowned speakers and industry experts
- Certificate of attendance
The programme includes world-leading speakers, optional visits to Oxfordshire’s innovation system, and the opportunity to network while being in residence at one of the world’s top global universities.
The course is a two-week long with lectures, visits, and networking sessions.
OGV offers classroom-based learning from experts for 3 hours each day, from 10-1pm. The rest of the time you will experience visiting Oxford and London cities, Oxford colleges, punting (boating) on Oxford canals, Blenheim Palace, and shopping at places like Bicester and Swindon Outlet Villages.
Location:
Workspace, training and meeting facilities will be arranged in Oxford. Accommodation will be arranged at one of the Oxford University Colleges.*
Fees (Check our 1 week intensive programme for serious entrepreneurs):
- UK and European Students (Full-time): £950 (Inclusive of UK VAT)
- International Students (Full-time): £1,550 (Inclusive of UK VAT)
- Professionals: £2,550 (Inclusive of UK VAT)
A booking fee of £500 must be paid upon confirmation from OGV of acceptance. This amount is non‐refundable but will be deducted from the tuition fee. Accommodation, travel, insurance, airport transfers and visa fees are not included.
Accommodation
We will be happy to facilitate accommodation in Oxford colleges, subject to availability. Room and board costs around £60-80 per day. Actual charges vary at time of booking and are charged directly by the University and associated Colleges.
